Question by shaney: Who is the comedian that opens with the bit about his Hawaiian shirt, “Did you **** Don Ho to get that shirt”
“No, I blew Don Ho because he’s great performer” (or something to that effect)
I remember seeing this guy before and hearing that bit and this was also mentioned in The Comedians of Comedy where Brian Posehn mentioned him always opening with it.

I think there’s a little confusion here (and some of it is from me).
Okay, this is in the movie “The Comedians of Comedy”. Patton and Brian were making fun of comics who use what they wear as a joke or opener. They mocked the thought that these comics dressed themselves and yet used it as a crutch. I think the origin of the conversation was an innocuous comment they made to each other about what they were wearing.
In one of the performances, one of them (Patton or Brian [I'm leaning towards Patton]) riffs on the subject. One of them uses the actual line: “Did you blow Don ho to get that shirt? …No, I blew him because…” So, one of them carried what they were talking about in the car to the stage as part of their performance. I don’t think the actual comic is the one who uses that line.
The actual comic is never revealed by name in the movie. I don’t recall ever seeing a comic (besides Gabriel Iglesias) wearing a Hawaiian shirt consistently. I think when Brian and Patton were referencing talking about this one comic it sounded like he was a relatively small, unknown comic.
Hopefully this helps.
